We're going to pick out our paint color tonight at Lowe's and we're down to 2 options. We're looking at color #3 or #4 (from top to bottom, 1-6)(the carpet sample will be the carpet that we install after we're done painting). The colors are by Valspar - Metropolis & Vessel Gray. The master bedroom is so bright that we think we can go with a darker color, and the color that we picked for the other bedrooms just isn't doing it for us anymore. We will have all white base boards, trim around the window, doors and blinds. Our bedspread is also a plain gray with some texture, and while our sheets are a light blue color those can be changed pretty easily. My plan is to create a neutral palette, but then throw in pops of color in accessories (art, pillows, etc.). So, what do you think: the lighter gray or the darker gray?
